After two weeks of harassment, I’ve been cornered into writing a new bio for the web. Lucky you!  I’m Jackie, Promotions Director/ on-air superstar /all around awesome person here at Country Legends. 

I’ve been here at the station for almost a year and it honesty seems to get better everyday.  I love radio and yeah, I throw a fit every once in a while, but my worst day in radio, is still an awesome day!

I grew up in Atchison, Kansas and had a blast, aside from a couple angsty teenage years.  I graduated from Maur Hill- Mount St. Scholastica Academy in 2005.  After High school I tried a couple things that I’m going to leave out.  In 2006 I moved to Arlington, Texas to attend American Broadcasting School and I got a job as a Promotions Assistant for CBS Dallas.  Promotions Assistant sounds fancy, but all it means is that I put up banner and stickers everywhere humanly possible!  I loved living in DFW and I still visit as often as I can.

I’m spending a lot of my free time trying to figure out Topeka.  Everyone is telling me it’s super easy, but I get lost a lot!  Fun Facts: I’ve got awesome friends, I do a little bartending on the side, and I love live music.
